Chinese New Year Reception
To mark the Chinese Spring Festival, the Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Hamburg, Cong Wu, hosted a reception. He welcomed the guests to the start of the Year of the Rabbit. He reviewed the past Year of the Tiger and emphasized the Sino-German friendship and cooperation, especially the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and China. During the reception, we had the opportunity to exchange ideas with representatives of Chinese companies from Northern Germany to further develop our Sino-German relations in the new year.
Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) annual kick-off event at the Congress Center Hanover
After a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Hannover) held its annual kickoff event in January. IHK President Gerhard Oppermann and Minister-President Stephan Weil welcomed more than 800 business leaders from politics, business, and society in the Hanover region. Current topics such as the energy crisis and the skilled worker shortage were discussed.

Interview with Adis Ahmetovic
In November 2021, Mr. Liu met at the invitation of Member of Parliament and SPD politician Adis Ahmetovic at the German Bundestag and the Paul Löbe Building. Mr. Ahmetovic is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Defense Committee. During the meeting, intensive discussions were held on how to further develop and deepen German-Chinese relations. Both sides emphasized the importance of stronger cooperation and discussed various approaches and strategies to achieve this goal.

Fundraising campaign with the Chinese Consulate in Hamburg
In a joint effort with the Chinese Consulate in Hamburg, we distributed masks and medication as a protective measure against the coronavirus. Chinese citizens residing in Germany were able to come by and pick up a free coronavirus protection kit.
September 2020 - Hanover
Digital celebration of the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China
To mark the 71st anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the Chinese Consul General, Du Xiaohui, from Hamburg, hosted a celebratory event. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the event was held online. In addition to the Chinese Consul General, the Minister-President of Lower Saxony, Stephan Weil, delivered a keynote address. Various guests from Germany and China participated, giving presentations on German-Chinese cooperation. We attended the event to cultivate and expand our network between Germany and China and to establish new collaborations.

Support from the Lower Saxony state government with protective equipment
As early as the end of January 2020, when the coronavirus was spreading in China, we began establishing contacts with manufacturers and distributors of protective equipment in Germany and China. Thanks to our many years of experience and expertise in trade between Germany and China, we were quickly able to build numerous close and trusting partnerships with leading Chinese manufacturers and renowned German brands of medical products. This enabled us to donate protective gowns to a hospital in Wuhan and to supply German organizations, care facilities, and the Lower Saxony state government with protective equipment and disinfectants.

China discussion group of the Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce
The Hanover Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Hannover) regularly organizes the "China Discussion Group," which provides Lower Saxony companies from various sectors with the opportunity to exchange information on current China-related topics in personal discussions. We participate in the meetings of the "China Discussion Group" to discuss China's economy, foreign relations, and culture with other experts and interested companies.

Celebration of the Chinese New Year at the Lister Tower in Hanover
In January 2020, China celebrated its New Year. This year, the Chinese welcomed the Year of the Rat. At an evening reception in the Lister Tower on January 13, 2020, we celebrated the Chinese New Year with representatives from politics, business, science, culture, and the Chinese community in Hanover. The Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Hamburg, Mr. Du Xiaohui, the Minister-President of Lower Saxony, Mr. Stephan Weil, and the President of the Lower Saxony State Parliament, Dr. Gabriele Andretta, welcomed the guests. The focus of the evening was the importance of trade and economic relations between Hanover and China and the continuation of these collaborations. The festivities were accompanied by the Guizhou Song and Dance Ensemble, the largest professional and multi-award-winning cultural ensemble from the southwestern Chinese province of Guizhou.

Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) annual kick-off event at the Congress Center Hanover
At the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) kick-off event in 2020, IHK President Dr. Christian Hinsch and Minister-President Stephan Weil delivered New Year's addresses to more than 900 guests from business, politics, and administration, including Minister of Economic Affairs Dr. Bernd Althusmann, Hanover's Mayor Belit Onay, and Gerhard Opperman, board member of Hannoversche Volksbank. The guest speaker was Frank Sportolari, the US head of UPS Germany and President of AmCham Germany. In his speech, he emphasized the strong ties between German and US companies.
December 2019 - Qatar Delegation trip to Qatar with the Lower Saxony Minister-President Stephan Weil
In December 2019, Mr. Liu participated in the delegation trip to Qatar led by the Minister-President of Lower Saxony, Stephan Weil. During this trip, the delegation members met with high-ranking Qatari representatives, including Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, to strengthen economic relations and discuss future cooperation. A key focus of the discussions was the planned liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the North Sea coast of Lower Saxony, which presents significant opportunities for both Qatar and Germany. Mr. Liu used this opportunity to establish valuable contacts and identify potential projects that could promote exchange between the two regions.

Beauty Forum Munich
Beauty Forum Munich is the largest cosmetics trade fair in Europe. It presents the latest products and trends in the cosmetics and medical beauty sectors. Our sales manager from China helped us find new brands that are interesting for the Chinese market and align with current trends. We also visited our exclusive distribution partners CBB Beauty Blaustein and BLOOM Beauty Essence at the fair to strengthen our collaboration for entering the Chinese market.
September 2018 - Cologne
Children Youth Fair Cologne
Kind Jugend in Cologne is the world's largest trade fair for international baby and toddler products. It offers retailers a wide selection of products ranging from children's room furnishings and toys to car seats and clothing. For us, the fair was a meeting place for suppliers and new manufacturers. We were able to see new collections and products, observe market trends in Europe, and discover new brands. We used the fair to find new brands for the Chinese market and to establish contacts for potential collaborations.

Homecoming trip for outstanding young Chinese people abroad
In July 2017, the 11th edition of the "Homecoming Trip for Outstanding Young Chinese Abroad" was launched. Organized by the State Council's Office for Overseas Chinese Affairs, this event aims to invite outstanding young overseas Chinese from around the world to China to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture and economic development. Mr. Liu was invited to this event as one of the representatives of young overseas Chinese from Germany. This event not only provided us with a deeper understanding of China's current situation and development but also allowed us to establish contacts with talented individuals from around the globe.

Delegation trip to China with the Lower Saxony Minister-President Stephan Weil
In May 2017, we accompanied the Minister-President of Lower Saxony, Stephan Weil, on a delegation trip to China. Lower Saxony has played a pioneering role in building relations with the People's Republic of China since the 1980s. The delegation trip served to cultivate political relations and expand economic contacts. It led from the capital, Beijing, through Jinan and Shenzhen to Hefei. This journey across the country allowed us to establish contacts, expand our network, and gain deeper insights into German-Chinese exchange through company visits.

Meeting with Hanover's mayor Stefan Schostok
At the invitation of the mayor of Hanover
Stefan Schostok was received by Yilin Liu, CEO of HR Holdings, for a meeting at the mayor's office. In a pleasant and constructive discussion, they talked about German-Chinese relations and Hanover as a business location. During the meeting, they discussed various potential collaborations and projects that have the potential to further strengthen the economic and cultural ties between Germany and China. These discussions offer an optimistic outlook for the future and promising prospects for both sides.
